NORTHERN NECK ORCHESTRA’S CHAMBER MUSIC SEASON is kicking off Sunday, September 6th at Good Luck Cellars. The NEAVE TRIO will perform works for violin, cello, and piano (using Good Luck’s baby grand!). and play a wide-ranging program that features the deep passion of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, the lush romanticism of Johannes Brahms, the expressive colors of Jennifer Higdon and the biting tango rhythms of Astor Piazzolla. ABOUT THE MUSIC Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Five Negro Melodies for Piano Trio, Johannes Brahms’ Piano Trio No. 2 in C major, Jennifer Higdon’s A Vast Palate and Astor Piazzolla’s Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas (The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires). TICKETS Tickets for the performance are $35.00. Season tickets for all four concerts in the series are $112.00. Students are admitted free with an online reservation. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at www.northernneckorchestra.org. The winery will remain open to the public.
