The Northern Neck Orchestra’s Chamberfest Concert Series will present “Music from the Americas, Scandinavia, and Turkey,” a concert of new chamber compositions rooted in classical music, folklore and jazz. The concert showcases Jessie Montgomery’s exciting Voodoo Dolls for String Quartet, Wood Works, an evocative homage to Nordic folk music arranged by the Danish String Quartet, Fazil Say’s luminous Black Earth for Solo Piano, and Jose Elizondo’s scintillating Danzas LatinoAmericanas for Flute, Piano and String Quartet.
