From Good Measure

James Jordan is a New Orleans vocalist whose sound moves across R&B, funk, blues, and swing, a range that reflects the breadth of the city's musical tradition. A rising presence in the local music scene, he is a recipient of the Sarah I. Nadler Memorial Award in Music. His band, James Jordan and the Situation, released their first album of original material, Reflections, earlier this year, and in May 2026, made their debut performance in the WWOZ Jazz Tent at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Tonight, Jordan leads a special sextet configuration featuring Robbie Wallace, a performance that reflects Good Measure's commitment to presenting established artists in configurations you won't find anywhere else in the city. Full bar on-site. No check-in required. Entry is free, with standing room and some seating at first come, first serve basis. Doors open at 9 pm. Join us in Good Measure. Come for the music. Stay for the night.
