Ten Spencer

Oakland-born Ten Spencer is a vocalist and bandleader whose music pulls from soul, R&B, funk, and jazz. She built her career in the Bay Area before relocating to New Orleans, a city whose musical spirit she has made her own. She fronts Gov't Majik and has performed with Adonis Rose and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. Her delivery is warm and assured, and her writing draws from the same well: love, loss, and the feeling of a place that gets under your skin. In 2025, she performed at the Ascona Jazz Festival in Switzerland, one of Europe's longest-running festivals dedicated to New Orleans music. Full bar on-site. No check-in required.
