A Living Legacy of Bohemian Lace: The Tradition Continues…

This exhibit will feature new and historic examples of German Bohemian Lace, or “Knippling.” Alongside the lace will be articles and historical information, telling the story of lacemaking in Brown County and the surrounding area. This exhibit is put together by the New Ulm Knippling Group, which meets weekly at the library. Join us in celebrating this unique cultural tradition that is still flourishing here in New Ulm!
