From Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra
Walker / Danielpour / Puts / Schubert Percussionist Lisa Pegher returns to the GJSO for two solo performances: on vibraphone in Richard Danielpour’s Lacrimae Angeli, then on marimba in Kevin Puts’s Marimba Concerto. The program opens with Gwyneth Walker’s three orchestral portraits inspired by Robert Frost and closes with Schubert’s Fifth Symphony, lean, bright, and cheerful.
