Art Classes Arts & Culture

Learn the basics of creating a crop art piece and inside info on entering the fair. You will be guided through the process of transferring images, creating an underpainting, and recreating your image in seeds. We will discuss the history of crop art along with details about technique and points of interest concerning materials. You will leave with the knowledge and materials to finish your piece, along with info on how to enter the MN State Fair. Students are asked to bring the following materials with them: An image to recreate in seeds  Your supply fee covers the following: Primed ½-inch plywood Assorted seeds Graphite paper Pencils Elmer’s glue Toothpicks Watercolor and acrylic paints
