Traveling exposes us to the new and can also bring us back to the longed for place, and this course provides practical and straightforward ways to create an analog record of your experience. Based on a simple watercolor and pen travel-kit, directed projects include exercises to test out colors and materials, drawing games, and creating records of places, food, patterns, and textures. This experience is designed for beginners while still providing some uniqueness and challenge for seasoned artists. We will work in the GMAC studios and near Artist’s Point during this course.
