Try It! Solar Plate Basics

This class is meant for anyone who wants to learn a photo-based approach to printmaking that will produce multiple, unique one-of-a-kind images. Students will learn image and plate prep, transferring image to a photopolymer plate, print paper prep, inking prep and technique and an intro to a table top printing press. Students are asked to bring a 5 x 7-inch image (drawn or printed) onto laster translucent vellum paper. If using graphite, spray the paper with fixative prior to class.
