Join Erin for a fun process of building a magic box. This book arts project uses a double-hinged lid that can open in two directions. The build is based on the “Jacob’s Ladder” structure. All box building supplies are included in the tuition fee and will be mailed to you by the instructor prior to the start of class. Students are asked to bring the following supplies Bone folder Metal ruler or straight edge 12” or less Cutting knife and replacement blades Self-healing cutting mat (recommended) Small scissors Pencil Wax paper / Parchment paper Micro-spatula/ toothpick Waste sheets/ Magazine or catalog pages Glue brush (Lineco ¾”) 3” right angle ruler (optional) PVA Glue (16 oz) Brass, 3/16” or 5/32” square (optional) or scrap book board Weight material – to fill the inside of the box weight.
