We provide: Psychiatric Service Dogs: Trained to carry out essential tasks for individuals with mental health diagnoses. These specially trained dogs can assist with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Facility/Comfort Dogs: – Placed in schools to assist with classroom management, de-escalate emotional situations, and comfort students. – Placed with first responder teams to offer support during traumatic events, help with witness and victim interviews, and provide emotional relief to first responders. Emotional Support Dogs: These support animals provide companionship, relieve loneliness, and can help with depression and anxiety. The dogs placed by C4C are trained in basic obedience; they are not trained for public access or any travel training protocol. These trained dogs bring comfort, stability, and purpose. We offer comprehensive support, including training, education, and care for our dogs and their human partners. Canines 4 Comfort provides life-changing services free of charge.
