Visit the Spring Garden Market for a unique shopping experience located in Des Moines’ most beautiful garden setting. Shop hundreds of plant varieties and tried-and-true favorites. All selected by our own horticulturalists that flourish in central Iowa. New to the market is the Dome Grown Collection. This unique offering of plants is grown in house by our horticulture team. Fill your cart with a wide selection of veggies, herbs, and other plants. Each are specially curated and often featured in our annual displays and collections throughout the Garden. While shopping, enjoy food, fun, and more. In addition, find art and other garden-related merchandise from our variety of vendors and community partners. Learn more about some of our region’s most special plants from our local plant societies and master gardeners. Horticulturists and volunteers will also be onsite throughout the event to help answer your questions! Shop over 300 varieties of plants hand-selected by the Garden’s very own horticulturists, including many unique varieties grown at the Botanical Garden! Quantities are limited, so GET HERE EARLY to get the plants you want. Vendors and community partners will be exhibiting throughout the weekend. A full list of available plants and partners will be available in our shopping guide in mid-April. Saturday, May 9th, 9am–4pm Sunday, May 10th, 9am–3pm (Mother’s Day, moms receive complimentary admission) General admission prices grant access to the public sale on Saturday, May 9, and Sunday, May 10.
