Hosted by Greenwich House Pottery Join us on the last day of our Spring term for the inaugural Jones Street Festival—a free, family-friendly celebration of art, community, and creativity right in the heart of the West Village! The street in front of Greenwich House Pottery will come alive with: Clay Olympics—participants vie for the tallest coil pot, the best pot thrown by foot, the most skillful teapot made whilst blind-folded, and so much more! Wheel throwing demonstrations and hands-on clay activities for children Pride at the Pottery—an LGBTQIA+ ceramics pop-up sale, with a portion of proceeds donated to the Stonewall Community Foundation Live music presented by the Greenwich House Music School and friends Community organization tables featuring local nonprofits and neighbors Arts and education programming from our Pottery and Music Schools and Older Adult Centers Handcrafted goods from our Older Adult Network knitting club Local restaurants, cafés, and businesses from the surrounding neighborhood Whether you’re a longtime friend of Greenwich House or discovering us for the first time, we’d love to see you there.
