Lea Bertucci presents The Oracle

Free | No ticket required Presented in partnership with the Center for Visual Cultures and Performance Lea Bertucci will perform music from her last solo recording, 2025’s The Oracle. This body of work includes voice processed with tape, folk flutes, and electronics. Described by Brad Rose of Foxy Digitalis, The Oracle is “… dizzying and textural, a gilded aural mirror reflecting anxieties and mythologies back at strange angles.” Related event Artist talk “A Primeval Future: The Process of Creating The Days Pass Quickly Immersed in the Shadow of Eternity” Wednesday, September 23, 1 pm-2:30 pm Elvehjem L150 Lea Bertucci will present a lecture of her recent work that focuses on her project “The Days Pass Quickly Immersed in the Shadow of Eternity,” a composition for archaic flutes in 8-channel sound.
