Guaguanco …… Originally from Iowa City, Maggie Cremers holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa and is currently completing her Master’s in Trombone Performance. During her time at the University of Wisconsin, she has participated in a wide range of student ensembles, showcasing her versatility and passion for performing in both the classical and jazz traditions. Maggie regularly performs with the Iowa Women’s Jazz Orchestra and is a founding member of The Wayward Ensemble, where she continues to explore story telling through creative music making. Outside of her musical pursuits, Maggie works as a baker at Bloom Bake Shop and enjoys spending time outdoors with her partner and their puppy.
