Ben Redwine and Don Vappie in Concert

Reimers Auditorium presents an afternoon of traditional jazz with two acclaimed musicians rooted in New Orleans music. Clarinetist Dr. Ben Redwine plays both classical music and traditional jazz. He is a former U.S. military band musician and university professor who has performed on four continents, and he now appears regularly with the Louisiana Philharmonic and the Baton Rouge Symphony. He is joined by New Orleans native Don Vappie, a musician, composer, and educator known for his signature tenor banjo style and his work preserving New Orleans Creole music. Vappie received the Steve Martin Banjo Prize in 2021. Tickets: fcchammond.org/event-details/reimers-presents-ben-redwine-and-don-vappie
