About this event
One of 6 upcoming events at Harvard Forest.
Join us in the Fisher Museum on November 10 at 6:30 p.m. for a film screening and scientist Q&A that will illuminate the fascinating, human story of Harvard Forest’s most-downloaded dataset, a remarkable 37-year record of the changing timing of spring bud-burst and autumn leaf-drop in 30 individual trees at Harvard Forest. A screening of the 15-minute film, The Forest in the Trees, will be followed by a Q&A the filmmakers, Ben Goulet-Scott and Matt Shelley-Reade, with Dr. John O’Keefe, the emeritus Harvard Forest researcher and educator whose long-term research is the subject of the film, and Greta VanScoy, the researcher who has recently taken over the measurements. The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided. No RSVP’s are required. The Harvard Forest welcomes individuals with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities.
