Please join Kripalu certified mindful guide & International Mindfulness and Meditation Alliance teacher Andrea Higgins and QiGong instructor Andrea Belford (capecodqigong.org) to celebrate nature in honor of Earth Day. Enjoy a guided meditative stroll through serene, forested trails with salt marsh views at beautiful Coy’s Brook Woodlands. Settle your awareness on nature’s soothing atmosphere and gain inspiration from the living earth. Engage your senses to appreciate nature’s beauty and rekindle your sense of curiosity, discovery, and wonder. Then, enjoy a QiGong session — an ancient Chinese practice of cultivating life force energy. We’ll follow a series of slow and gentle movements combining proper posture, healthy breathing, and mindfulness. This retreat will focus on the Earth Element which will help us feel grounded and reduce worry and anxiety. Moving with nature encourages us to release stagnant energies and bring in a sense of compassion for ourselves and others. Join us on this self-healing retreat to connect to nature, tune in to your senses, and feel the vital life force energy that flows through us, and all life on Earth.
