Summer Reading Challenge Kickoff Party

E Heluhelu Kākou: ʻUmeke Kāʻeo Itʻs time for Summer Reading! Letʻs get started in style, with a fun community gathering to get signed up and in the spirit. ʻUmeke Kāʻeo describes a well-filled calabash, or a well-filled mind. We’ll be celebrating with a food theme all summer while we fill our hearts and minds with knowledge. Join us on the first Friday of Summer Reading to help fill our library calabash with your best piece of wisdom, along with other drop-in activities including bubbles, chalk, and refreshments on the library lanai. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
