Yinka Ilori Ribbon Cutting Celebration Join us for a special ribbon-cutting celebration featuring a new site-responsive performance created by Heidi Duckler Dance and Heidi Duckler Northwest in honor of a monumental public artwork by internationally acclaimed British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori, MBE. Known for his colorful, joy-led design philosophy, Ilori has transformed the street through a vibrant work of asphalt art that celebrates community, connection, and collective imagination. Drawing from contemporary design and traditional Nigerian parables, the installation creates a dynamic public space that invites gathering, reflection, and play.
