Learn about the history of Middlebury with a 60-minute, 1-mile narrated walking tour. Follow Todd Goodyear as he weaves through town and time - from the 1780’s to the 1980’s - spotlighting the people who helped shape Middlebury’s character. You’ll learn about Painter and Foote, the influential Battell and Ilsley families, Charles Mraz the bee man, and even Bud the barber. Whether you’re a curious visitor or a lifelong local, you’ll leave seeing Middlebury in a whole new light. The tour departs from the Henry Sheldon Museum and is a 1 mile walking loop. Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for 13 & under. Your ticket includes admission to the Museum that day. About Todd Goodyear: Todd has spent his entire life in Addison County and now lives in Middlebury.
