Artists in the Gallery: Nicole Goldman

Every Saturday an exhibiting artist from the Second Chances (Fiber Arts) exhibit will be available at Highfield Hall in the gallery, showcasing their artistry and answering questions. The artist in the gallery on Saturday, March 14th will be Nicole Goldman, and she will be available from 10 am – 2 pm. More about Nicole Goldman: Nicole has been involved in the arts and fiber from a young age. She focuses on texture and movement in her pieces whether woven, stitched, collaged or sewn, or any combination of these using traditional yarns and fabrics as well as natural, foraged materials, reclaimed and recycled or natural dyed fibers and paper. Recent work has focused on three-dimensional vessels using her manipulated and textured work with free-motion machine stitching, as well as perfecting her botanical dyeing techniques and creating new fabric designs that can be incorporated into weavings, vessels and quilts.
