REGISTER NOW Join Melissa Goodwin for a refreshing and accessible chair yoga workshop designed for individuals of all ages and abilities who want to maintain and increase vitality. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking for a gentler practice, this workshop will guide you through mindful movements, gentle stretches, and relaxation techniques that can be performed seated in a chair. This yoga experience allows anybody to go deeper in poses and breathing exercises than they would be able to go on a yoga mat. Develop mobility and strength through a sequence of poses and movements, focusing especially on breath, balance, and flexibility. A native New Englander and Falmouth resident, Melissa Goodwin is a long-time yoga teacher with nearly 20 years of yoga teaching experience. Certified in Hatha, Restorative, and somatic movement practices, Melissa combines accessible-to-all physical sequences that promote flexibility, strength, and balance with centering practices that quiet the mind and promote a sense of calm. Her classes are focused, joyful, and fun. Classes run Mondays and Fridays 10:30-11:30. Please register for your selected dates.
