Ikebana Floral Design with Anna Holmes

Register Now Learn the art of Japanese flower arranging in this Introduction to Ikebana workshop. The Japanese floral design style dates back to the 7th century, with its origins in Buddhist flower offerings at temple altars. This class will begin with a short demonstration of Ikebana Japanese floral design followed by guided instruction as participants create their own arrangements. Simplicity, harmony and naturalism will be emphasized using a few basic rules. It’s fun, and anyone can do it!
