We’re buzzing with excitement—Asheville Honeyfest is returning to Highland! On Sunday, June 7th, from 12 – 6pm, we’re thrilled to once again host the Center for Honeybee Research and the community for Asheville’s 5th Annual Honey Festival. Join us on the Meadow for a free, family-friendly celebration dedicated to all things honey, beekeeping, and pollinators. Expect an afternoon filled with live music, food trucks, local vendors, and the vibrant energy of Asheville’s bee-loving community. The Center for Honeybee Research will offer a global tasting experience, featuring both local and international honey available for sampling and purchase. It’s a delicious way to support a vital cause—festival proceeds help fund research and education aimed at protecting pollinators and the planet. And yes, the beloved pollinator-themed costume tradition is back! Come dressed to impress—wings, stripes, antennae, and all. 🐝🍯
