BIO Blue Ridge Betty was formed in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in the Bent Creek neighborhood in Asheville, NC. The band released their first all original album “Firefly” in July 2025, and it was featured on WNCW’s new tunes at 2. Blue Ridge Betty continues to develop their Americana sound, by blending harmonies, acoustic and electric instruments, and jam-inspiring grooves. Their second album will be released in Spring 2026. Weekend Live Music Highland Brewing’s weekend live music series showcases incredible local talent, regional acts and national touring bands from across the East Coast and beyond. Free and open to all ages (unless noted otherwise), it’s the perfect excuse to gather your crew, listen and vibe to a wide range of genres including soul, bluegrass, acoustic, country, folk and more. Live music typically takes place on our scenic Meadow stage. Shows are rain or shine, if the weather doesn’t cooperate and we have time to move inside, the band will play in the Taproom where there’s still plenty of room to boogie. Chairs, blankets and well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome in the Meadow. Please note that coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted on the premises.
