About this event
One of 1,039 upcoming events at Highland Brewing.
Bio: La Sonora Carolina is a high-energy, 11-piece salsa orchestra known for bringing authentic salsa dura, cumbia, and Latin dance music to Western North Carolina. Featuring a massive lineup of driving percussion, soaring horns, and soulful vocals, they are a staple of the Asheville-area Latin dance scene. Weekend Live Music Highland Brewing’s weekend live music series showcases incredible local talent, regional acts and national touring bands from across the East Coast and beyond. Free and open to all ages (unless noted otherwise), it’s the perfect excuse to gather your crew, listen and vibe to a wide range of genres including soul, bluegrass, acoustic, country, folk and more. Live music typically takes place on our scenic Meadow stage. Shows are rain or shine, if the weather doesn’t cooperate and we have time to move inside, the band will play in the Taproom where there’s still plenty of room to boogie. Chairs, blankets and well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome in the Meadow. Please note that coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted on the premises.
