About this event
One of 75 upcoming events at Hill Center DC, and 5,294 across Washington, D.C..
“Inspiring & joyful…excellent performers.” Washington Post “Alchemists of cool jazz, bossa nova, and folk.” Capital Bop Award-winning VERONNEAU return to Hill Center following last year’s sold-out, audience-favorite, Blue Tapestry – Joni Mitchell & Carole King celebration. From Paris to Rio & Beyond blends soulful French, American & Brazilian repertoire and a touch of bluesy originals. In songs and stories, vocalist Lynn Veronneau & guitarist Ken Avis travel in time through tempos rich and mellow, swing and samba. Often described as “a mini Pink Martini” VERONNEAU’s multilingual show is captivating, engaging and exquisitely performed. With special guests Karine Chapdelaine & Dave Kline.
