OLG Stage Live Show

Entertainers: Alan Doyle With Special Guest Mary Frances Expect the unexpected from Welcome Home, Alan Doyle’s fourth full-length solo studio album and 20th overall. While upholding his status as a perennial merrymaker — a reputation burnished by his years with acclaimed folk-pop combo Great Big Sea — the new album also finds the multifaceted singer songwriter and 14-time JUNO Award nominee exploring novel sonic terrain. Mary Frances is an award-winning Canadian fiddler, vocalist, pianist, and step dancer whose music is rooted in Celtic tradition. The daughter of renowned musicians Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, Mary Frances has performed more than 800 shows across Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia, sharing the stage with artists including Yo-Yo Ma, Jerry Douglas and Carlos Núñez. Her debut album, First Light, earned her the Canadian Folk Music Award for Young Performer of the Year. Blending a deep love of traditional music with a fresh, energetic style, Mary Frances is carving out a sound and career distinctly her own.
