What: 2026 Spring Architects’ Tour When: Saturday, March 21, 2026 Time: 10AM to 4PM Purchase Tickets Join Historic Beaufort Foundation for the much anticipated Spring Architects’ Tour as gracious owners open their private homes in support of HBF’s mission to preserve and protect Beaufort’s historic and architectural heritage. The annual Spring Architects’ tour is the Lowcountry’s only tour presenting the best in innovative and distinctive contemporary residential architecture and offers a rare opportunity to peek inside these homes as architects, builders, designers and owners share their expertise. HBF is pleased to feature 5 distinctive homes located in Beaufort’s Downtown Historic District, on Dataw Island and on St. Helena Island. This is primarily a self-driven tour. Golf carts and/or trolley service will be available in certain locations. Also, a part of the tour this year, the Dataw Historic Foundation will provide tours of their History Museum and Learning Center, and the Sams Plantation Ruins. This year’s tour features homes designed by three of Beaufort’s acclaimed architectural firms —Frederick & Frederick Architects; Hefner Residential Architecture, and Montgomery Planning & Architecture.
