This year the Spirits will Rise! Sunday October 4, 2026! Noon to 5 pm at the Columbia Cemetery in Boulder. SAVE THE DATE – Early Bird pricing will be available soon. A beloved tradition in Boulder since 1986, biennially in even numbered years, Historic Boulder, Inc. presents “Meet the Spirits” in the Columbia Cemetery on 9th & Pleasant Streets. Come travel back in time and get to know some of Boulder’s dearly departed permanent “residents” of the Cemetery portrayed by community volunteers through engaging and costumed presentations. Meet the Spirits is an interactive way to learn about Boulder’s history and preservation of the cemetery. Come young and old and connect with our town’s story on a personal level.
