May through November, the Green-House hosts free, drop-in activities for all ages, featuring two hands-on ways to explore the art, history, and nature of Green-Wood. Design a monument, investigate a nature discovery table, record your family history, or create a painted masterpiece. Each gathering offers something different, but the goal remains the same: to spark curiosity and help families connect with each other and the Cemetery. Here’s what we have lined up so far: May 30th – Explore art and nature activities inspired by artist Jean Shin’s earthwork Offering in Green-Wood’s Main Entrance Meadow and Celadon Landscape installation in the Green House. June 27th – Happy Pride and Caribbean Heritage Month! Celebrate Green-Wood residents Jean-Michel Basquiat, Emma Stebbins, and Paul Jabara through collaborative art projects. Know Before You Go: Tickets: No registration required. Drop in and join us. Seating and activities are first come, first served. All ages, recommended for 5+ and caregivers. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Where To Go: This program takes place at the Green-House (750 Fifth Avenue), near the Main Entrance on Fifth Avenue and 25th Street.
