This class is an introduction to several book crafts not taught in the book binding workshops, including leather and paper decoration, and advanced sewing techniques. Participants will hand-sew book sections together with specialized techniques. In the bookbinding trade, these sections of pages are referred to as signatures. Students will learn sewing techniques not taught in the Bookbinding I Workshop: the French Link Stitch and the Herringbone Stitch. Workshop Admission: $95/Person, all supplies included. Ages 8-17 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 6 participants.
