Saturday, October 17, 2026 Fermented foods offer a simple, delicious way to boost your gut health and overall wellbeing. Humans have been turning to fermented foods for centuries to help prevent food from spoiling. One of the easiest ferments to make is sauerkraut. At this hands-on workshop we will learn from fermentationist Rose Forbes of Independent Fermentations Brewing how to make our own 26 oz jar of sauerkraut to take home and enjoy. Fees cover samples, ingredients, and supplies. Join us for a serene outdoor experience at Holly Hill Farm that begins with a mindful hike through scenic trails leading to the tranquil Ice Pond.
