Please join us for a screening of the documentary film, The Barn. This powerful film chronicles the story of then 81-year-old Karl Shapiro, the last living survivor from his family. Schapiro, joined by his granddaughter, Rachel, embark on a mission to find the one place he swore he would never return - the Barn where he was hidden during the Holocaust. Schapiro, now in his nineties, continues to speak to audiences about his experiences as a young boy in hiding during the Holocaust. Joined by his daughter, Dalia Schapiro Zahavi, the pair will discuss the legacy and importance of The Barn, and the critical nature of teaching the Holocaust today.
