Getting to the point is the point of this evening stroll on Thursday, August 27 from 5-6pm. Meeting at Lock 4 in Stillwater NY, participants will learn about the beings who live within the riverine ecosystem, both in the water and on along the shore, while taking a nature walk to the point. The facilitator, Arianna Alexsandra Collins, executive director of the Hoosic River Watershed Association (HooRWA) will also discuss water quality monitoring activities in the Hoosic River Watershed. This free public program is offered through On the Canals, a project of the NYS Canal Corporation, New York Power Authority. Families welcome. Trail is rocky, steep, and narrow in some spots, opening up to a beautiful full view of the Hoosic-Hudson Rivers confluence. Touch the meeting of the waters! Please register for this free event HERE.
