Roxana Segovia Beltran of Gardyn-Doulah will teach permaculture’s principles to create resilient gardens, deeper ecological awareness and stronger community connections, regardless of garden size or experience level. This workshop is all indoors and will include short reflective exercises and small-group discussions. Participants may want to bring a notebook for reflections or design ideas. With over 18 years of experience tending vegetable and forest gardens — including work at Howard Community College and Forested—she has guided hundreds of volunteers and grown hundreds of pounds of fresh produce for community programs. Roxana specializes in accessible permaculture education, ecological design, and cultural storytelling as tools for strengthening land stewardship and community resilience.
