La Familia P. Luche – season one marathon

Widely regarded as one of the most deeply rooted series in Mexican TV culture, La Familia P. Luche aired on public broadcasting from 2002 to 2012 with only three seasons. Created by and starring comedian Eugenio Derbez, it follows a chaotic, and deeply dysfunctional family led by his character Ludovico P. Luche and his domineering wife, Federica (Consuelo Duval). Together with their strange children—Bibi, Ludoviquito, and Junior—and their Argentine maid, Exelsa, they all live under the same roof in the fictional Ciudad Peluche (“Plush City”) where clothes, appliances and even furniture are covered in an array of plush fabric — much like Human Resources these days.
