What is Tales for Tails? Tales for Tails is an opportunity for students (1st grade – high school) to practice their reading skills in a judgement-free zone while also helping cats at our shelter get the enrichment and socialization they need. This 1 hour program includes a lesson about Humane Colorado, tips for safely interacting with the cats, and 30 minutes of reading time. Experienced and enthusiastic staff and volunteers will guide your child through this interactive program. What should my child bring? Students must bring their own book. Students must wear closed toed shoes. Register here!
