April 28 – High School Competition Awards The Huntington Camera Club has a long history of community outreach via multiple projects in our almost 60-year history. Recognizing local high school photography students has been a long tradition as we encourage artistic expression with creative and imaginative photography contests. Students compete in several categories for recognition and awards. Since its inception, the event has grown and regularly receives up to eight hundred submissions annually. Since the first competition, the club has awarded well over $35,000 in cash and prizes to many deserving students. The club is proud to shine a spotlight on the talents of these young photographers and their teachers. A competition of this nature is only possible because of the generosity of the local business community and club membership
