The Konrad Paszkudzki Trio with April Varner returns to Concerts by the Pond for Holiday Swing II, bringing the warmth, sophistication and irresistible swing of classic jazz to the holiday season. Australian-born pianist Konrad Paszkudzki has performed more than 1,000 shows with the John Pizzarelli Quartet and is resident pianist at The Carlyle Hotel in New York. Vocalist April Varner, winner of the 2023 Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition, joins the trio for an evening of holiday favorites, jazz standards and music from the Great American Songbook. Holiday Swing II continues The Current with music that travels effortlessly from swing to tinsel.
