Australian-born, New York-based classical guitarist Rupert Boyd comes to Cold Spring Harbor for An Evening with Rupert Boyd. Acclaimed for his expressive playing, warmth and remarkable musicianship, Boyd has performed across four continents and appeared at venues including Carnegie Hall. Gramophone has praised the “very fine musicianship” of his playing, while The Washington Post has hailed his “truly evocative” performances. Named a Musical America New Artist of the Month in 2022, Boyd is also co-artistic director of New York’s GatherNYC. His solo appearance at Concerts by the Pond offers an intimate evening with one of today’s compelling classical guitarists.
