Norwegian-Swedish vocal ensemble Trio Mediæval brings Yule: Music for the Winter Season to Cold Spring Harbor, weaving Scandinavian traditional Christmas folk songs and hymns, English medieval carols and contemporary music into an atmospheric celebration of the season. Since its founding in Oslo in 1997, the internationally acclaimed trio has captivated audiences with the extraordinary clarity, precision and warmth of its sound. Trio Mediæval’s YULE received three 2026 Grammy Award nominations, including Producer of the Year, Classical; Best Engineered Album, Classical; and Best Immersive Audio Album. Their performance continues The Current, Concerts by the Pond’s Season 13 journey across traditions, places and generations.
