The Firefly Artists present Call to Artists: “Oh My, Octopi!”

The theme is “Octopus.” Take a dive into the mysterious depths where eight arms create endless possibilities. Artists from throughout the Long Island region are invited to submit artwork for this juried exhibition celebrating the wonder that is Octopus. Off Island submissions are fine, just please note that hand delivery and pickup at our Northport, NY gallery are required for this show. All original media is acceptable, such as drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fabric work, glasswork, jewelry and digital media. While digital artwork is eligible, AI-generated art is not, nor are works created in a workshop or class, or otherwise under the close instruction of a teacher. No reproductions will be accepted, with the exception of photography and digital art. Maximum frame size is 36” on the longest side. Sculptures must be no larger than 12” in any direction. All art submitted for exhibition must be for sale. The gallery will take a 35% commission on pieces sold.
