William Low – Light Remembered at Gallery North, Setauket

From the seaside suburbia of Long Island and Cape Cod to the bustling urban cityscapes of Hong Kong and New York City, Low transports viewers by combining his modern approach to composition and a classical handling of light. Low relies on his perceptive memory whether it’s guided by the radiant glow of light reflected by monumental skyscrapers or the glimmers that dance through the leaves along a tree lined street. The viewer’s own experiences are recalled through Low’s captured energy of the passing moment and the sensations of being present in these vastly different environments.
