@ Register Here! Race for the trees! National Arbor Day is a nationwide celebration of the importance of trees and their impact on our communities. We’re celebrating Arbor Day with a 5k Race and 3k Sapling Fun-Run on Saturday, April 25, 2026! Race Details This event features a staggered start. 5K Race (chip-timed, certified course) – Begins at 8:00 a.m. 3K Sapling Run (not timed) – Begins at 8:30 a.m. Both races will take participants through the scenic paved and gravel roads of Huntsville Botanical Garden and the US Space and Rocket Center. Pets, headphones, and non-registered participants over the age of three are not permitted on the course. Strollers are welcome for the 3k Sapling Run only. All participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Awards: The top 3 finishers in each 5K race category will receive an Arbor Day Race medal! Registration Register before March 31 to save $10 on registration fees. To ensure your preferred shirt size, please register by March 20. 5k Race $30 prior to 3/31 or $40 beginning 3/31 3k Sapling Run Ages 11+ – $25 prior to 3/31 or $35 beginning 3/31 Ages 4-10 – $15 prior to 3/31 or $25 beginning 3/31 Ages 0-3 – Free with paid adult All registrants receive a commemorative short sleeved t-shirt. Ages 0-3 will not receive a shirt for the 3k Sapling Run. Both events have limited entries, so please register early! All registrations are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable. Register Here!
