In this hands-on class, the instructor will cover plant selection, design and care, proper potting mix, container selection, fertilization and light and water requirements. The program will include a demonstration and you will get to design and create your own container to take home! All supplies will be provided. Capacity is limited, so reserve your spot today! Additional Information: This class will take place in-person at the Huntsville Botanical Garden in an indoor space. Please come prepared to get messy and dress for the weather! About Your Instructor Stephanie Boast started her career with Huntsville Botanical Garden in 2017, where she is currently one of the Garden’s Horticulturists. She grew up in Central Florida where she received her degrees in both Business and Ornamental Horticulture. She has been fortunate enough to work in many different areas within the horticulture industry throughout her career. Her most exciting one was overseeing the interior plantscaping at Orlando International Airport where she was responsible for designing, purchasing, and helping maintain the interior and outside containers, beds, and grottos on airport property.
