Experience the magic of Galaxy of Lights in a whole new way during our annual timed 5K Race on Monday, November 30, 2026 from 6:00–8:30 p.m.! This 3.1-mile course winds through the dazzling Galaxy of Lights trail, giving participants the unique opportunity to run beneath the spectacular holiday displays before the driving tour opens for the season. The course is primarily paved, with a few short gravel sections. Start Waves To ensure accurate race timing and awards, participants must start with their assigned wave. Wave 1 (Blue): 6:00 p.m. Wave 2 (Green): 6:30 p.m. View the certified course at certifiedroadraces.com using Course ID AL25017JE. Participant Information For the safety of all runners, pets, strollers, headphones, bicycles, non-registered participants, and other wheeled devices are not permitted on the 5K course. All registrations are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable. Spectators & Refreshments Registered participants can enjoy complimentary refreshments inside the Nichols Arbor following the race. Friends and family are encouraged to come cheer on participants! Refreshments will be available for spectators to purchase beginning at 5:30 p.m. near the Grisham Pavilion.
