@ Adult Education Program Register Here! Can’t decide between a tea garden and a pollinator garden? Why not grow both? Alabama is home to a fascinating variety of native plants that can be enjoyed as teas while also supporting pollinators and adding beauty to the landscape. In this class, we’ll explore the rich history, cultural significance, and cultivation of North America’s native tea plants. Discover the fascinating misunderstanding behind Yaupon Holly’s scientific name, learn about the important role Sweet Goldenrod played during the American Revolution, and explore other native plants with remarkable stories and uses. Along the way, you’ll learn how these plants can be grown and enjoyed in your own garden. Whether you’re a gardener, tea enthusiast, native plant lover, or simply curious about the stories hidden in Alabama’s landscape, this class offers a fresh way to experience the plants growing around us. Capacity is limited, so reserve your spot today! Additional Information: This class will take place in person at Huntsville Botanical Garden.
