@ Register Now! Join us for a hands-on flower pressing class that blends art, nature, and history! In this creative workshop, you’ll learn the delicate craft of preserving flowers through traditional and modern pressing methods. We’ll begin with a brief look into the history of flower pressing and floriography. You’ll then join us for a walk in the garden to collect flowers and foliage to preserve. We will walk you through the technique for pressing flowers using your own personal wooden herbarium press provided to you in the class. All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary. Come celebrate the beauty of nature in a lasting way! Location information will be provided to registrants via email the week of the program. In the Flower Pressing Project Workshop, you’ll learn how to safely remove your pressed flowers and transform them into beautiful keepsakes. All materials are provided to create an elegant 8×10 floating glass frame art piece and a coordinating bookmark.
